Today's post is going to be about something that really excites me.

I recently embarked on a new journey to fulfill my childhood dreams of becoming a writer, instead of asking "what if"s.

I’ve started writing a short story, and as we speak, I just published the first two parts on Wattpad!

It’s a dark fantasy centered around Tom, who falls asleep beside Gemma, only to wake up somewhere impossible—inside her eyes. Trapped inside Gemma's eyes, he watches her move through the world, completely unaware of his silent presence. What begins as a mystery soon turns into a haunting question: Will he ever escape?

My plan is to release a new part every week, and I’d love for you to be part of the journey.

Catching Up: Life Lately & What’s Been on My Mind

 

Hey everyone, it’s been a while. 

Can you believe it? I blinked, and here we are, already 45 days into 2025.

The past week has been a bit of a blur for me. I caught a bad flu that had me stuck in bed for days. Honestly, I barely left my room. It was mostly just sleeping, drinking tea, and trying to get through it.

Before I got sick, though, I was out and about in Istanbul, just enjoying the city like a tourist. I spent a few days exploring new places, checking out local cafes, and going to some events. It was nice to see the city from a different perspective. Speaking of which, the photo featured in this post was taken from the top of Galata Tower, looking over the Golden Horn.

I would love to continue exploring more of  this city. However, next week, I’m starting graduate courses, so it’s going to be a busy few months ahead. I’m definitely looking forward to some time off, and honestly, I’m already thinking about summer vacation.
